Living in this world, beauty always comes with sorrow. As someone who has been through a lot of ups and downs, I cannot help but feel the contrast between the beautiful parts of life and the sad moments that have been scattered throughout my journey.
The Beauty:
From childhood to adulthood, beauty has been a constant companion. When I was a child, my mother used to tie my hair into two beautiful ponytails, and I would wear a dress adorned with beautiful lace. Everywhere I went, people would comment on how lovely I looked. This made me feel special, and I basked in the glow of the attention I received.
As I grew up, I learned that beauty is not just an external trait, but it is also internal. Helping others, being kind, and caring for those who are less fortunate are all beautiful traits that make a person truly gorgeous.
The Sorrow:
Life is unpredictable, and it often throws challenges our way that we cannot foresee. There have been many times in my life where I have experienced sorrow. My father passed away when I was a teenager, and I was heartbroken. It felt like the world had come to an end, and my heart was shattered into a thousand pieces.
More recently, I have experienced personal struggles with depression and anxiety. These disorders are invisible, yet they have a huge impact on a person's life. The constant feelings of sadness and fear can be overwhelming and exhausting.
The Balance:
Despite experiencing these trials, I have come to realize that beauty and sorrow are two sides of the same coin. The beauty in life gives us hope and the strength to push forward even when things are tough. The sorrow we experience helps us grow and become more empathetic towards others.
So, I have learned that both beauty and sorrow are essential parts of the human experience. It is important to embrace them both and use them to become a better person. We should cherish the beauty and stand strong against the sorrow. Life is a journey, and the beauty and sorrow we experience along the way are integral parts of that journey.
So, when I look back on my life so far, I can see both the beauty and the sorrow that have walked side by side with me. They have shaped me, taught me, and made me who I am today. And for that, I am grateful.
